Happy Friday! I am sharing my FRIYAY 5 today which is a combination of my 5 favorite things from the week whether it is fashion, design, beauty, travel, home décor or a book! Just click on the image below or the text above to go directly to the websites.

The Chilbury Ladies’ Choir by Jennifer Ryan is not my usual genre but I am so glad I gave this a try. It is a great read but I would recommend a box of tissues with this book. The book is about a group of women during WW2 who survive the war by singing! This is not just a book that delves into the relationship of a group of women but also a mystery and a love story. If you give it a try you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I went to the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole for a work retreat. I was fortunate that I just got to tag along for the vacation and was not required to work! We had a beautiful room with a fireplace and view of the mountains. I also loved that they have Nespresso machines in ever room which is my favorite espresso. I could have just been happy staying in our room but I did venture out to the spa and the pool both of which were beautiful and relaxing. When my husband was done we took the gondola to the mountain top. I want to return soon and bring our kids. There is so much to do…hiking, mountain biking, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone are near by as well.

If you cannot tell I like all things layered whether it is home décor or jewelry! I think this little necklace can go with everything. I could easily wear this with a casual tee or a work outfit. The simple gold chain necklaces are so popular right now and all my nieces love these pieces. I think I will give this necklace to one of my nieces for her birthday.

I am obsessed with this table lamp. It is so classic and will work in any room! I want it for my husband’s office to go on the corner of his desk. It is just so elegant with a traditional feel. This table lamp would work in my more transitional home and my mom’s traditional home.

ONE POT WILD RICE CHICKEN + VEGGIE PILAF
My husband loves this recipe! I have to make it twice a month for him. I will admit it is one of my favorites too. The combination of the rice, carrots and chicken is perfection. This is a warm comfort food meal and I love to make it for our Sunday Night dinner. I do not add in the mushrooms since my husband nor kids like them. I do not think it takes away from the recipe by omitting them. I would recommend everyone try this recipe out!
I hope you enjoyed my weekly picks and you all have a great weekend!
