I love to read and there are not many genres I am unwilling to try but I am currently passionate about cozy mysteries. I started with Louise Penny and from there have expanded my range into all types of mysteries and crime novels. Below I have three great reads for those of you looking for a good book!

BY CHARLES TODD
This may be one of my favorite mystery series I have read. The protagonist, Bess Crawford is a WWI nurse and is a strong female character that you cannot help but admire. I also enjoy the subtle romance happening in the background throughout the series. Each additional book in the series draws me in more; the ability of the writers to make you feel the emotions along with Bess Crawford as she solves the mystery keeps me coming back for more. I love any book that can pull me in so that I am completely immersed in their fictional world. This is a great cozy mystery to snuggle up on the couch with but don’t forget the tea!

BY SOPHIE HANNAH
I am a huge sucker for a Classic whodunit Mystery. My husband and I love Hercule Poirot mysteries, whether it is reading the novels or watching the series, so when I saw this mystery series I knew I had to try it. I enjoy Sophie Hannah’s writing style and liked the classic Poirot twist and turns. My only drawback to the book was the end where Poirot reveals the killer which felt too drawn out, even with that one snag, I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it.

BY RUTH WARE
I am one of those Ruth Ware fans that pick and choose which of her novels I will read. Some of her books are either just not to my taste or too dark for me. Having said that this is definitely one I enjoyed and would recommend to everyone. Ruth Ware is another writer who has the ability to draw you so deep into her books that I feel the anxiety and fear of the main character. This is a great book for a rainy night or save it for closer to Halloween for a good suspense!
Hope you find something that peeks your interest. Enjoy!
Jordan
Jordan I have read all the Louise Penny books! They are wonderful; I too am an avid reader of mysteries especially British mysteries-MS Morris and M Dalgliesh are good authors of mystery series..
