PILLOW TALK

I love pillows! Everyone in my family knows how much I love pillows because I am constantly sending them pictures of pillows they need in their homes. I have run out of room in my own home for my pillow obsession so have had to start passing them along. Below I have included 3 groupings of pillows in my house along with the links for each.

Pink Pillow/ Animal Print Pillow/ Similar White Pillow/Another Similar White Pillow

My basic rule of thumb for pillows is to pick a solid and two patterns. I usually choose one small pattern then one large pattern. But that is not always necessarily what I end up with so I tend to go with the combination that I love. In my bedroom I added interest with texture on the solid white pillow. Also, Tassels are a great way to add a little something extra to your pillow combinations.

Floral Woodblock Pillow/Animal Print Pillow/Leather Pillow

I always go with large pillows when I can. I try for a 20×20 when choosing pillows for my bedrooms or couch but in smaller spaces like on my entry bench I went with 18×18 and smaller. I tend to buy lots of different pillows that will work in my space then try them out at home. Of course now we order online which does not always make this possible so I will create a little collage of pillows on my computer before I order. I will use copy the online image and just paste it in word or excel so that I can see the pillows close together to see if I think they will work together.

Navy Velvet Pillows/Orange Pillows/Blue Grid Pillow

I love the pillows for my bench but I did find a floral pillow by Schumacher that I am thinking of adding into the mix or just replacing the grid pillow. The pillow is below and if you click on the image it will take you directly to the website.

I hope some of these suggestions are helpful but if you have any questions just comment below or go to my contact page. Saturday I am going to share some of my favorite affordable pillow combinations so check back in! Enjoy!
